Good food, decent service, worst waiting area (because there isn't one) ever. We waited almost 2 hours for seats, because they don't do reservations, while servers came back and forth from the kitchen, repeatedly putting hands on our backs and arms to try to squeeze through the crowd of people waiting (I get you don't want to spill or get bumped, but I can't stand being repeatedly touched by strangers, from behind), which was very uncomfortable. Besides the awful wait, everything else was perfectly fine, but I'd expect such a busy establishment to have a waiting area that isn't in the way of the kitchen and bathrooms (which also had a constant line).

This place has some nice seating inside and a great deck eating area on the side of the building. From the deck you can see and listen to the river. If you like fried mushrooms, then you'll love theirs- clearly freshly battered and fried, not frozen. Note: the mushrooms are a massive appetizer-bring your appetite or bring a couple friends. The steak tips are out of this world: tender, juicy and delicious. Easily in the top ten best tips I have ever had.

Went on a Friday night, didn't have to wait long but it was very chaotic, Was seated, and not given menu's or offered drinks. Waited about 10 minutes was still not greeted yet and grabbed menu's myself, eventually (another 10 minutes) one kind waitress came over and asked if I was being helped, I ordered my drinks and entree's at the same time, to make sure there was no delay. The food came at was mediocre at best. My son had a soda, and I had one beer, we both had a an entrée, He had the Shrimp Scampi and I had the marinated tips.. I've had way better food and service at the 99. I paid about $60 for a $20 meal. Wont every go again.

Was approached by waitress Devon who apologized for not wearing a mask by the fourth time to table she had one on and by sixth and seventh visit to our table back off Smh and pizza was burnt. Turned off we asked for doggy bags and just left them at the table .

Just picked up pizza and wings limited ingredients but so good, thank you!

Fantastic food with indoor outdoor dining. Pizza was top notch and what one would get from the Boston, Northern sections..great cheese and fantastic crust. Onion rings were the large batter dipped and not greasy but sweet..chicken fingers are made to order and they have a few dipping sauces...the gold one is the best!!!! We came in deep and the staff did a great job taking care of us..Burger was great too!

This is just my opinion. Kids and wife got pizza, I got haddock with shrimp with veggies. The good - The pizza was very good per kids and I tried it as well. Good size, crust done just right and good selection if toppings. Not recommended - I understand this is the mountains, but $22 for a medium size fillet of haddock and 4 shrimp drowned in butter which overpowers the food (left a pool on my plate, see last picture) is a bit much. Wife didn't like her pizza, no flavor, and greasy. Update - we all felt the grease the next morning. Be aware, it's greasy....

Simple but tasty menu with reasonable prices. On a nice day, the outside tables on the deck are enjoyable.

The pizza was excellent I had the Buffalo chicken pizza and my wife got the bacon pizza . The atmosphere was comfortable and the service was fantastic. We will definately be visiting here on our next trip to the white mountains.

Food was very good. We especially enjoyed the fish and chips. The fish was moist and flaky. The kids spaghetti and meatball was huge. My daughter got 3 meals out of it.

The place was packed when we arived but the staff handled it with out issue. The clam chowder and steak tips where delicious. Will definitely be eating here next time we are in Woodstock

My husband, son and I had dinner here last night. The food was amazing and the service was even better! The staff was so nice and friendly and my 4.5 year old left smiling ear to ear because everyone was so nice. We will definitely be back and highly recommend!

Very friendly and attentive staff. We came after going to the ice castles. The food was good and good portion.

Wowza, who would have thunk it? This gem outside of the downtown area is fantastic. Great food, awesome service and a fun casual vibe. It's obvious that the owner really cares. I'm looking forward to hanging out on the deck next to the river next visit. N

Amazing friendly service for our roudy table of 6 adults and 7 kids. Staff was attentive, fast, and on point. Food was tasty, there wasn't a single thing that anyone didn't like, and the atmosphere in the restaurant was low key and comfortable.Bathrooms were clean, and the only negative was a small parking lot, but we were able to park on the street.

Great staff, great food, great vibes! The waitresses are very attentive to the customers and even the owner can be spotted checking in with customers! I had the steak tips and they were phenomenally cooked and presented.

Food was great; server very friendly. The only disappointment is their schedule. Was hoping to hit it again before the end of my vacation but they're closed until Thursday! 😕. Highly recommend!

An awesome restaurant, it works with family or you can hang out at the bar. The food servings are immense and will leave you full for the price. It was our first time going, and we were not disappointed. Next time we visit New Hampshire we will definitely be visiting again. I highly recommend the chicken broccoli ziti it was very well made.

Great place to eat on the river, great food and service

I live local to the Rustic River Restaurant, been going there on an as-needed basis for about a year! I get cravings for two food items they have which I must have :) from time to time! 1. Their whole belly fried clams w/french fries (oh yes!)2. Their chocolate mousse pie for desert (yes please!). The fried clams are fresh, tasty and tender and the french fries are good, they're seasoned. The chocolate cake to the mousse pie is always fresh and moist and the mousse rich and thick. I sometimes order these food items as take-outs as you can see in the photos. The restaurant itself is clean, casual and the staff are all smiles and eager to please. The restaurant has a handful of large, flat screen TVs to watch the game. People also bring their children to eat. Everyone has a good time. The owner often chats and laughs with the customers, he makes certain you have everything you want or need so to have a good time.

Great food and great service! Very accessible for wheelchairs.

Lori & I found this place last summer , delicious food & a river to play in (When it's warm ) We ate here last night again !!!

The staff was great but the pizza was subpar. We got the bbq chicken pizza.

Went there on September 19, 2019. The fisherman's platter and steak tip dinners were fantastic! Scrumptious, fresh fish, and melt-in-your-mouth tips! We went back with our kids and grand kids 2 nights later :). Again, the food was excellent. Great value, lively fun place, and superb food!

Not only was the atmosphere and food amazing, but the owner went out of his way to help me clear snow off the top of my car when I was trying to leave. Fantastic customer service by all!!

I went into this restaurant in the early afternoon, they would not take a reservation, I have just proposed to my now fiance. The staff was rude and not friendly. And was told that they do not take reservations. So we decided to still try this place based on their menu. Upon arrival we were seated inside, not waited on for 30 minutes. And the menu was pizza and burgers. We walked out and will never return.

My family and I had come up this way for the day and decided on the Rustic River Inn. First off, they were 3 girls standing at the bar, talking, we sat down, 10 min later after my mom went to a waitress and said something, the waitress, "Oh, we thought one of the other girls were taken care of you." Next I had ordered a cup of chowder. Never got it. My waitress was no where to be found, she went outside, I didn't get the chowder until, I had said something. Finally got it with my pizza, after my brother had gotten his way before us. Poor communication and professionalism. Yes the waitress took my chowder off but its because she forgot it. I would not reccomend this place.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Food was good, prices very reasonable and atmosphere was outstanding. Super friendly, accommodating waitress. Very attentive. The owner took time with the kids and showed them the authentic swords. Looks like it would be hopping for adults, but is equally welcoming to families.

First time here. Great experience. Smaller size place with a nice little bar and about a dozen scattered tables. Lots of tvs and random decor that is interesting to view. Food was great. I had a fried clam platter that included whole bellies. We also split an appetizer of chicken fingers that was excellent a honey mustard style sauce with a little spice at the end. Service was great with all staff pitching in on the tables. We were attended to promptly and with with great personalities. Would return again.
